Music enthusiasts were shocked after veteran Ghanaian rapper Obrafour disclosed that he extended an invitation to Sarkodie but he failed to show up for his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ documentary.
According to the veteran rapper in a recent interview with Zionfelix, he recounted that he extended an invitation to Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame but they both refused to show up for the documentary.
He added that as it stands now, they have not given him the reason for not showing up but presumes they have been occupied with works thus not showing.
Well, Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town has explained why his artiste couldn’t show for Obrafour’s ‘Pae Mu Ka’ documentary.
Speaking to Joy News, Angel Town stated categorically that, Sarkodie never turned down Obrafour’s invitation as it’s been speculated.
According to him, the producer of the documentary called and communicated that they would like to shoot Sarkodie’s section at 2 pm but unfortunately for them, Sarkodie was still at Pastor Brian Amoateng’s IYES conference at the National Theatre as at that time.
The manager further said, Obrafour had later said he was sending the team over to his – Sarkodie – house to shoot the rapper’s part, which never happened.
“It’s just a matter of miscommunication.” “If right now self if these people want to shoot, he go shoot,” Angel said in pidgin. He noted that they would not have agreed to shoot if they were not interested
