Veteran Ghanaian rapper, Obrafour has revealed that his several attempts to feature his ‘son’ Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame in his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ document proved futile.
According to the veteran rapper in a recent interview with Zionfelix, he recounted that he extended an invitation to Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame but they both refused to show up for the documentary.
He added that as it stands now, they have not given him the reason for not showing up but presumes they have been occupied with works thus not showing.
He said; Me and Sark, you know I have said time and again that at any given period when it comes to him, i’m totally bias towards him. So as to why, how, it will be difficult to say anything concrete, it is what it is, he just didn’t show up. Up till date he has not showed up, he had assured that he would be there but he has not been able to come through, and now we’ve wrapped up the shoot”.
From day one, Sarkodie was at the launch so definitely you will expect him to be at the concert, I am not writing anybody off at the moment but I’m praying that probably whatever it is that is hindering him God will take it away and he will be able to come through. He knows about all the events leading to my 20th Years Anniversary and so i just don’t know why he’s doing this, i’ve reached out to him several times but still,” he added.
Obrafour’s ‘Pae Mu Ka’ documentary is in commemoration of the 20th anniversary since the release of the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ album.
The documentary features well-known industry names like CY Lover, Hammer, Tic Tac (now TiC), Kwaw Kese, KOD, Yvonne Nelson, M.anifest and a host of others.
