Per the facts of the case, Rex Omar took legal action against Joy Dadi Bitters for using portions of his ‘Da da di da’ in their adverts without his permission.
The High Court in Koforidua has awarded damages of ¢200,000 and costs of ¢30,000 to Rex Omar against Joy Dadi Bitters.
The news of Rex Omar winning the court case was also confirmed by popular blogger and publicist Fiifi Adinkra.
