Highlife artiste Kuami Eugene has for the first time revealed why afro-dancehall musician MzVee parted ways with Lynx Entertainment.
According to Kuami Eugene in an interview monitored by Jupdateafrica.com, MzVee left the record label to go and marry and not because of the many speculations in the media.
He stressed that everyone and everything is fine at Lynx Entertainment, but MzVee had to leave purposely because she wanted to get married.
He said; “She is a big girl now and she wants to go get married so she needs to further what she wants to do… She has got plans and all I can say is I wish Mzvee well.”
”Unfortunately, I lost a sister. She isn’t dead but she is no longer part of our label,” he added.
On 11th September, 2019, giant record label Lynx Entertainment released a press statement confirming MzVee’s departure from the label.
MzVee in a separate press statement also said; These 8 years with Lynx Entertainment has been absolutely delightful and a blessing and I am glad we still hold our relationship regardless of our decision to part ways.”
The budding musician under the label chalked a lot of success and won awards as well.
