Ghanaians have bemoaned the increased nudity in the entertainment industry. Be it movies, television series, music videos, social media or even on the red carpets, it is very common to find female celebrities especially exposing their lady parts.
On this note, Managing director of the Multimedia Group Mr. Santokh Singh has banned all explicit music video on its platform with immediate effect.
Speaking an interview with Andy Dosty of Hitz FM, he stressed that any music video with n-dity will not be aired on any of his platforms.
He said; “A lot of people follow them and we believe in what they do. They are influencers and they’re not influencing in a good way so that’s why I’m talking against. I’ve spoken to few artistes on the subject. I’ve spoken to Okyeame Kwame, Stonebwoy on the need for us to stop this nudity especially in the music videos and using women especially it is derailing our youths because a lot of people follow them.”
“We will not be promoting or showcasing any music video that has nudity no matter who is the artist, we will not promote it. And we will not also promote personalities that go on social media and they’re exposing themselves.” he noted
