Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested motorcyclist who stole his in – law’s police crested vest and fez cap in order to hijack a motorcycle, along with two other suspects.
According to reports, It was also disclosed that Michael’s in-law whose police vest and fez cap were used for the operation was outside the state at the time of the incident.
Ojomeje, 29, was arrested alongside his accomplice Emmanuel Michael (24) and Moses Ogeh (27) by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad.
Ojomeje and his counterpart Ogeh were caught in MOPOL vest, police vest, and fez cap while trying to escape after collecting an ‘Okada’ from a rider.
The supposed victim, on releasing the ‘Okada’ to the robbers, walked a few steps away before crying out for help.
This drew the attention of the operatives of Rapid Response Squad in the area. They were chased and arrested a few meters from the scene.
