The head of the Consumer Protection Agency, Kofi Kapito (CPA), has reacted after being accused of sexual harassment by GHOneTV’s Joyce Serwaa Amihere.
As reported earlier by Jupdateafrica.com, Serwaa Amihere yesterday took Kofi Kapito to the cleaners for harassing her sexually at the just ended RTP awards.
She tweeted; ”I had so much respect for Mr. Kofi Kapito. This is a classic case of sexual harassment. I’m appalled by his utterances. This was needless and completely disrespectful!”.

But from all indications, it seems Kofi Kapito has swiftly moved to apologize to Serwaa following her tweet which went viral the next day.
The host of Okay FM’s Drive Time show, Abeiku Santana revealed that his sources at GHOne TV had indicated to him that the CPA boss visited the offices of Serwaa on Monday, October 14, 2019, to render an apology.
Kofi Kapito speaking in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM Kapito failed to deny or admit apologizing to the newscaster.
He, however, admitted visiting the offices of GHOne TV but stressed that he owes nobody any explanation and that it was nobody’s business to know what he went there to do.
