Ghanaian actress and movie producer Kafui Danku has questioned the decision by the government to introduce sexual education curriculum in basic schools.
As reported earlier by, the Ministry of Education disclosed that beginning next year, pupils in all public schools, including 4-year-olds will be given Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
Officials say the subject content would, however, be age-appropriate, so the toddlers would be empowered with values that would protect them from sexual harassment.
The policy has, however, come under intense criticism. Ghanaians have described the move as an attempt to introduce homosexuality to children in Ghana.
Taking to her Facebook page, the mother of two questioned the importance of the said program. She wrote “are we serious at all? Really? Hmmm”.
